Matthew Lundy is currently employed as a Data Scientist at Mission Health System in Asheville, North Carolina. He is a Masters of Science in Analytics (MSA) candidate at Georgia Institute of Technology and has earned his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and Masters of Health Administration (MHA) from the University of North Florida. Matthew completed his Administrative Residency with Mayo Clinic Florida in Jacksonville. He has more than five years of experience in healthcare analytics and has managed several specialty clinics. He joined Mission Health System’s Performance Improvement department as a Systems Engineer practicing operations research and lean six sigma. During this time, he received his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. Matthew later transitioned into Information Technology as a Data Scientist. In this role, he now focuses on building both predictive and optimization models for production applications.
