Kristin began her nursing career at UnityPoint 15 years ago as a frontline Orthopedics nurse. Advancing through leadership positions with Inpatient Nursing teams and moving to a continuum Orthopedic leadership position to lead the Service Line. During that time frame, Kristin also worked in an ‘as-needed’ role for The Joint Commission as a Disease-Specific Total Joint and Spine Surveyor. She spent the next two years working as an Operations leader in the Clinic setting with UnityPoint Clinic and then moved into the Population Health role as the Executive Director in 2019. Kristin has partnered with teams such as Analytics to move in step with the Care Teams toward reducing utilization for patients with the Care Teams. This partnered success is a team effort and a pride point of the Care Management program.
