The COVID-19 pandemic required leaders across the healthcare ecosystem to take innovative thinking, creative problem solving, and steadfast leadership to new heights, in support of healthcare organizations gripped with crisis.
In the early days of the pandemic, Health Catalyst’s own leadership team huddled to consider the best ways to support clients desperate for data and analytics solutions to help find a path forward.
From these conversations, Health Catalyst’s company-wide COVID-19 Task Force, spearheaded by Holly Rimmasch, was born. Under Rimmasch’s steady leadership, the company launched seven technology services and solutions aimed at addressing the significant problems hospital and health system clients were facing at the height of the pandemic.
As a result of her incredible efforts, Rimmasch, Chief Clinical Officer, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Clinical Quality Analytics at Health Catalyst, has been named a Top 25 Innovator by Modern Healthcare.
The Top 25 Innovator list recognizes leaders who champion solutions to reshape the industry in big and small ways, pushing boundaries to help solve healthcare’s greatest challenges.
In recommending Rimmasch for this achievement, Health Catalyst CEO Dan Burton said, “Holly leads with initiative, innovative thinking, and a commitment to the sustainable improvement of hospital operations and patient care, even in the toughest of times. Holly also happens to be one of the most kind, caring, thoughtful individuals with whom I’ve ever associated.”
Health Catalyst is proud to celebrate Rimmasch and this achievement, and grateful for all that she does to further the mission to deliver massive, measurable, data-informed healthcare improvement.
“There’s never been a more urgent time for the industry to experiment with innovations that can reshape how care is delivered. The members of this year’s class of Top 25 Innovators have introduced ideas that engage consumers in new ways, lower healthcare costs and take unique approaches to managing population health. The honorees were selected for their work in one of four areas: consumerism, cost reduction, population health and quality/safety. They were selected from nearly 200 nominations. We congratulate this class of honorees and look forward to following their careers,” Aurora Aguilar, Editor of Modern Healthcare.
