Technology - Why is the HAS app survey important?

Filling out the HAS app survey in your HAS application will allow us to give you insight about attendees based on correlations between the survey and your poll answers. An example might be a discovery of different perceptions by those with similar titles but different geographies. The survey is also the single biggest way to score points in the HAS game, so you won't want to miss out on that.

Technology - How do HAS 19 app questions and voting work?

This is a nerd’s take on a popularity contest. Using the power of the HAS 19 app, submit your questions to the presenter, then vote for your favorites. Only the most popular questions will be addressed. Even Steve Urkel could win this one.

What is the Dine-on-Us event?

“Dine-on-Us” starts Wednesday, September 11 at 7:00 pm and allows attendees to dine at a Salt Lake City restaurant of their choice with a $75 Visa gift card. This gift card will be provided with your registration materials when you arrive at HAS.

Content - When are the HAS 19 Runs and Walks?

The HAS 19 runs and walks (led by HAS pacers) will take place on Wednesday evening, September 11 (6:00 PM) and Thursday morning, September 12 (6:15 AM). They will be in the same location as last year.

Content - How do I win prizes?

HAS isn’t a spectator sport!  We want you to get involved, and the “HAS Game” section of the app is where you’ll be rewarded for all you do. There are several different ways to accumulate points including participating in the Analytics Walkabout, posting photos on the photo wall, answering polls, submitting your questions and exchanging contact information with others, to name a few.  As you earn points, you’ll reach new levels that you can redeem for prizes along the way. For those fierce competitors out there, a leaderboard will show attendee point totals. And, everyone who reaches the highest level will be eligible for the grand prize drawing at the end of the show!

Content - Can you tell me what content you are offering Health Catalyst clients?

We will have content specifically for Health Catalyst clients on September 10 during our pre-summit activities.

Content - Can you tell me more about the pre-summit activities?

We have two concurrent options for your pre-summit experience: the Health Catalyst User Group for clients, and Health Catalyst training for anyone.

Our immersive Health Catalyst University offering is for individuals wanting to improve their data-driven outcomes improvement skills. The pre-summit Health Catalyst User Group will include our product roadmap and presentations on clinical and technical best practices from both Health Catalyst experts and client panels.

Content – Can you tell me about this year’s Analytics Walkabout?

This year’s Analytics Walkabout will again feature over 24 different face-to-face case study stations staffed by health system front-line leaders who can explain in person about these improvement projects. This gives you an opportunity to meet and have up close and personal discussions about what worked and how it was accomplished. Dinner and dessert will be provided. Learn more.

Content - Continuing Medical Education (CME) How many credits do I get?

Although we don't yet know how many CME credits attendees will earn, past year's attendees have earned between 15-22 CME credits.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of The UT Health San Antonio Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine and Health Catalyst. The Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long San Antonio School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Transportation between Salt Lake City International Airport and The Grand America Hotel is available via a 15-minute taxi ride, shuttle, or Trax public transit. You can also call The Grand America Hotel concierge for transportation assistance at 801-258-6703.

The Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) is a 15-minute drive from The Grand America Hotel.

General - How should I dress?

The dress will be business casual. So no dresses, business suits, jackets, or ties are required. We want this to be comfortable, yet professional.

General - What kind of weather should I anticipate?

Typically the forecast for weather in Salt Lake during September is sunny each day with a high of 76-83° during the day and a low of 51 - 56°.

Yes. Once you’ve completed your registration, you can modify the registration here.

Registration - What types of payments are accepted for the conference fee?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Registration - What is the registration fee?

You can find the prices on the homepage or by clicking the orange registration link in the menu.

Registration - What is included in my registration fee?

Your summit registration includes admission to all keynote and breakout sessions and hands-on training. It also includes all general receptions, evening entertainment, and conference meals.

Registration - Will I receive confirmation of my registration?

Yes. After you register online, you will receive an email confirmation of your registration from HASregistration@healthcatalyst.com. If you don’t see your confirmation email in your inbox, please be sure to check your spam/junk folders.

Registration - Who can help me if I'm having problems with my registration?

We hope this isn’t the case, but if you need assistance with your registration, please call 877-749-8824 or email HASregistration@healthcatalyst.com and a representative would be more than happy to help you.

Registration - Can I bring a guest?

Absolutely. Your guest will need to be registered for the summit. This can be done during the registration process for a cost of $249. The Guest Pass includes access to: The Analytics Walkabout and HAS Wednesday Evening Activities (Dine-On-Us & the Evening Reception)

Registration - Is my reservation transferable?

Yes. If you register and pay but are unable to attend, you can transfer your registration to a colleague from your company. Submit all transfer requests to HASregistration@healthcatalyst.com or call 877-749-8824.

Registration - Does the registration fee include air transportation and hotel accommodations?

All costs for air transportation and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee. There are some attendee room blocks at both the Grand America and Little America. Those rooms are available on a first come, first served basis.

Registration - What if I have to cancel?

We understand things happen. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to HASregistration@healthcatalyst.com. For a full refund of the amount paid, submit your cancellation request at least 30 days prior to HAS (before Friday, August 9). Fifty percent of the amount paid will be refunded until August 31. No refunds will be given after that time. Substitutions will be allowed up until the event. No-shows will not be refunded. Hotel reservation cancellations and substitutions must be taken care of directly with your hotel.

Other - Can I speak at the summit?

While most breakout sessions are taken, we are now soliciting speaker proposals for the Machine Learning Marketplace. The deadline to submit is Thursday, April 25 by 5:00 pm. If you are a health system provider or payor (no vendors please) interested in speaking, click here to submit your request by April 25.

Payment - Can I get a discount if I attend just one of the days?

Unfortunately not. We feel we have offered a great value for a reasonable fee for this summit and are not offering discounts for shorter attendance.
