In 2003, Leavitt was appointed Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, and in 2005, he joined the Cabinet as Secretary of Health and Human Services where he administered nearly 25 percent of the entire federal budget and 67,000 employees.
As founder and Chairman of Leavitt Partners, he brings leadership and strategic guidance to the health care and food and import safety industries.
